How The Support Works in the UK

Many people who have unaffordable levels of debt may feel that there is no way out of their financial situation. However, if you are struggling with debt you could be eligible to write off part of what you owe.

By calling upon debt relief, open to UK residents, there are a number of solutions that can write off a significant chunk of your debt, freeze interest and charges, and reduce pressure from creditors. Through debt relief solutions such as Debt Relief Orders or even Individual Voluntary Arrangements (IVA), you could write off debts or arrange realistic payment plans for debt generated from sources such as credit cards, payday loans, store cards, overdrafts, loans or rent arrears.

How do I know if I qualify?

The scheme is for those in England, Wales and Northern Ireland who are in financial difficulty with an unmanageable level of debt. The qualification criteria for a Debt Relief Order are as follows.

  • Your debts are less than £20,000
  • You do not own your own home
  • You don’t have much spare income (less than £50 a month spare income)
  • Your assets do not exceed £1,000
  • You have not applied for a DRO within the last 6 years

In order to be considered for a DRO you need to have your financial situation assessed and apply through an authorised debt advisor and this is where we can help.

It really is that simple. Find out in minutes if you can benefit from debt relief support which offers a potential way out of your financial stress.

How can we help you?

By talking to you and finding out more about your current financial situation, we are able to provide you with tailored debt advice and financial solutions that will work out best for you. We will run through all the debt options, including DRO and IVA opportunities, which may have built up from sources such as credit cards, payday loans, store cards, overdrafts, loans or rent arrears.

Why is this help available?

Spiralling debt is not a situation that people should find themselves permanently in and it is common for people not to be sure about the best way to clear their debts. By getting some advice can help them feel less anxious or stressed and in control again.

Often people have maxed out their cards and let their finances spiral out of control so they reach the point they are only ever servicing debt and never likely to pay back what they owe. Thankfully, every insolvent person in the UK has a legal right to have non-affordable debt legally written-off. A debt write off of between 25% to 75% is not uncommon, although in some instances it is not unheard of for some of our customers to achieve an 81% debt write off.

Our Partners have serviced over 10,000 homes

The partners within the scheme are some of the leading windows and doors companies in the UK, serving over 10,000 customers per year.
